Has anyone seen the RC "7" car being sold in the UK? i gues it's modeled after a Top Gear episode and comes complete with the Stig. Anyone know how to get one? I also heard (from my son geoff) you cant get them shipped here? any thoughts?

Check out eBayer "jasonmunn" who's listing one (item #320468282668) expiring in 6 days 4 hours from the UK. Current price bid is 6 gbp + 10 gbp shipping ($25.71 usd). It's the white 27MHz version. I got the yellow 40MHz version through the CCC's group buy. Fun to run around my circular driveway but a little disappointed with the inexpensive plastic controller....the right/left steering stick is twitchy and the reverse stick doesn't return to the neutral position, but for the money a pretty fun model to have. I'm going to take the controller apart sometime soon and try to fix the sticky reverse. If you get it, you'll have a bunch of fun.

I ordered one from Marks and Spencer on Dec 30th. They acknowledged my order and gave me an arrival date of January 11th. On Jan 5th I got an email informing me there would be a delay to the 18th.

A few days later I got an email informing me they were out of stock and didn't expect that they would have any more for sale.

On Jan 13th I got an email thanking me for my purchase and asking me to spend 10 minutes filling out a questionnaire on my buying experience! I didn't bother to do it.

They had not charged my credit card so no monetary loss but I would have much rather had the RC Se7en.
