Open Road as one Caterham left for the dates of the tour. http://www.openroadhire.co.uk/ Tom are you out there? ) Ed Post from the Sevens Tour list: tour7@se7ens.net Ladies & gentlemen it is my privelage to invite you all on the latest se7ens list's tour of the highlands of Scotland aptly named "The Magnificent Haggis" .......our biggest highland tour yet. >From Monday 6th September to Friday 10th you will have five full days of automotive heaven and the oppurtunity to enjoy driving your se7en on the finest roads anywhere in the country. Accomodation will be the accustomed full dinner bed and breakfast over three hotels. The first two nights in the Hilton Colylumbridge, Aviemore, nights three and four and a secret location on the west coast yet to be revealed & the final friday night at our old favorite, the oldest hotel in Scotland, the Kenmore where for all those who have been before, is a joy unto itself.... never mind anything else I may have planned A roadbook will be prepared offering sugggestions of routes for each of the days with various mileages depending on your preference for time in the car. As always there are no rules so it you want to head off sightseeing instead there will ample choice from Castles to palaces, distilleries to stunning countryside and plans are afoot for a possible gathering of se7ens at John O Groats. Once again the invite is extended to both old and new tourers (even the odd MX5 owner) and of course not only includes all accomodation, but also the support of our tour truck & two man crew. Costs are estimates at the moment as the final costs depends on final numbers however provisional calculations work out at about 385GBP per person based on two in a car and shared double/twin rooms. There will be a small suppliment for single persons as always which can only be calculated once we have the final numbers. Payment for the tour will be in three instalments. An initial deposit of 100GBP per person due now. An interim payment of 250GBP per person end of June and a final balance payable in August. All payment details are at the end of this email. To confirm a place please email me back with :- 1 - confirmation of your deposit & the bank reference used in the transfer (usually your surname) 2 - whether you are solo or with passenger 3 - your preference to twin/double/single rooms (note there is NO SINGLE ROOM option at the Kenmore hotel) I need to confirm numbers to the hotels & pay deposits by 14th April so I suggest you don't delay in registering your place. Also we are restricted in total numbers by hotel availability so allocation of places is strictly on a first come first served basis. I'm sure this would be a great tour - the fact that they have run haggis so many times just shows how much everyone enjoys it. I'd jump on it, but I'm saving up for Italy.
