“Clubmen of Michigan Spring Blat”

The Spring Blat will be on Sunday May 16th. The blat will orientate west of Ann Arbor and South-East of Dexter. We will meet just off of I-94 at exit No. 169 “Zeeb Road” which is about 2 miles west of the M-14 and I-94 junction.

The rendezvous point is the Big Boy restaurant, located at 497 North Zeeb road, 48103. [734-213-8200] Arrival time is between 10:00 and 10:30 AM. Take the North Zeeb road exit off of I-94, the restaurant is a ¼ mile north of the exit.

A little after 10:30AM we will finish off the coffee, then stop next door for gas before heading north on Zeeb road. We will head towards Dexter and then to Pontiac trail. The Blat will make a western loop towards Hell Michigan and then down to the Waterloo Rec-area. Actual road time should be about two hours and 85 miles. We will make a pit stop 38 miles into the blat so the BECs can top off if they’re carrying a spare gas can. The spring route will consist of about 60% new roads, with the rest being the 09 fall route. About 3/4 of the way through the blat we will stop for Lunch in Chelsea at the Las Fuente 350 N. I’ll supply turn by turn route tickets. I’ve pre-run the route and have flagged the turns [LH or RH] that do not have road signs at the intersection.

Warning: Ann Arbor is 6th in the USA for speed traps if you plan to come through Ann Arbor or across on Jackson road.
