Want new wheels or info. on good wheel source for 4 bolt 14 inch wheels to fit new Yokohama 195/60 R14's

Posted (edited)

What is your bolt pattern and offset? I believe Rotuses use a 4x114.3 and a 10-20(?) mm offset.

Unfortunately, 14" isn't an incredibly popular size anymore so finding aftermarket wheels can be a daunting task. It may also help explain if you're looking for lightweight racing wheels or something just to get you around. Because that bolt pattern is fairly common to old toyotas, nissan 240sx and datsuns you should be able to look in message boards for these cars.

Looking for general daily use for an all season radial. I'll use the old panasport wheels for track maybe, even if they aren't the lightest.

Maybe to help with ground clearance can I go to a 15 or 16 inch wheel?

Will that mess up my speedometer/odometer?

Not a tech guy.

If you go to a larger diameter wheel and change the rolling diameter of the wheel and tire combination it will cause the speedo to be off but you can always recalibrate it so you know what speeds you are doing. I think you will find that you will most likely stay with the flow of traffic anyway and when you’re driving spiritedly you will not be looking at the speedo anyway in most instances but that is just my belief.

Just have fun and enjoy your car.

if u have the tyres already, consider junkyard finds for the 14" for the toyota fitment perhaps the corolla, camry and celica had something appealing. otherwise u may need to contact a manufacturer. the ae86 crowd shold have plenty of info.

15" wheels normally bring another inch off ground clearance with the typical miata size tyres.

Camry will be 4x100. I'd say the best place to look for 4x114.3 wheels on the net is club4ag.com (though their forum seems to be down at the moment).

I just remembered konig rewind is a decent 14x7 -9 offset, 13 lb wheel (offset may be too negative for you) for around $120 a wheel. They also make a 15x7 version.

You aren't going to find many performance tires in the way of 15" that will bring the car that much higher than 195/60/14. The common performance tires are in sizes 195/50/15 and 205/50/15.
