thermal switch

Hello gentlemen

 

I was hoping someone could assist me with an alternate part #....I am trying to find a thermal fan switch for a 1969 1600 lotus7 X flow. This is the switch which screws into the head just bellow the thermostat housing on the LH side…3/8NF thread I think? Thank you in advance.

You could always plug the 3/8 npt hole and go to an in-hose unit.

Any auto parts store can show you 10 to 15 pages of these switches. You just need to know the temp you want and if the switch is normally open or closed. I would take the old switch with you, so you can compare the wiring connector. But it is easy to change to either a spade or stud connector.
