Reg/ inspection, very important, I'll let you off the hook for that one. Make sure before

you spend the money, I had a hard time with that, after I spent 32k, Duh

 

If this car already has a title, that will help with the Reg, as to having just the MSO. The inspection could be a bastard, but I don't know the laws and rules in your state.

Once it has already been registered and assigned a VIN by the original builder, do you still have to go through all the 'inspection stuff' in order to get it registered to you in CT.? I would think the big challenge is to the original builder.

Bster - send a PM to 11budlite. He will know the rules in CT better than most. I vaguely recall it as the only state where bumpers have to be fitted for inspection. I do want to see a pic of that when it happens! :rofl:

 

Another source of information on state regs is the Factory Five Forum. The Cobra replica guys usually have some information on each state - they have more cars than us - they had the best information on NJ when I was trying to work out how to get through.

Thanks Cros. I've been in contact w/ 11budlite and he's been helpful. Biggest remaining question is if I need a rear exit exhaust or not. I'll check on the Factory Five forums. Thanks!
