All of my experiences have been very positive - except one...

 

My electric fan kicked on outside of a bicycle shop and drained the battery down to a point that it would not start upon returning to the car. I asked a guy who just got out of his Porsche and was heading into the bike shop if he would kindly push me out of my spot, so I could attempt a rolling start down the hill. My plan was pop the clutch and start my car. This guy looked at my Birkin, rolled his eyes, then made some under the breath, but loud enough to be heard comment about my car being a piece of sh!t. As he reluctantly walked over to assist, I told him thanks but no thanks.

Both Porsche and BMW make some great, and fun, cars, but have you ever noticed that they seem to draw both ends of the performance driving spectrum. Some of the best and a lot of the worst people I have met at track days are Porsche, and BMW, owners. Brings up the old joke; What's the diference between a BMW and a porcupine? With a porcupine the pricks are on the outside. As a BMW driver myself I make sure I don't act like one of the pricks. LOL

I think what make 7 drivers so cool is that their brains get more

oxygen from all the fresh air

and all the adrenalin from shear fun.
