Playing at a Test & Tune and the clutch didn't seem to want to play along...

Of course, it was a nice day and I decided drive our Stalker to the event with the tire trailer instead of using the truck and race trailer, so my wife had to come pick me up. Oh well, it should be back into commission in a week or so.

Just a minor bump in the road, think of all the really bad things you have seen happen or maybe have happened to you. Heck this is minor and a fun day or two putting in a new clutch.

Any thoughts of upgrading the clutch or has this one lasted a long time?

That's some odd failure ? Walmart part?

IF mine I'd be yelling at the parts boy who sold me that substandard bit.

Without doubt it wasn't due to the massive power of your engine straining to move a 4500 lb car and trailer.

I don't know what brand clutch it was, probably a cheapo. I am going with a Spec clutch/pressure plate. I only have around 5,500 miles on the car, so it shouldn't have self distructed. I do autocross a good bit, but don't beat on the clutch and am surprised it didn't last. Oh well, it should be up and running in a few days!
