pureadrenalin
Sounds like a mass air flow sensor to me, or possibly even a cam position sensor. I know on the SRT-4, the cam position sensor was a huge issue, and wasn't present until 55mph, or 3k RPM, and honestly, it sounds like it presents similarly to what the SRT's does. jimrankin
The tracking number on the hand held reader shows delivery on friday so have my neighbor on watch for it. Probably be next week some time before I get back and get a chance to work on it but hopefully I will be able to get the "magic electronic" answer to all my problems. LOL. I have been going over all of the wiring diagrams in the S2000 factory manual just for kicks. It's a wonder the cars can make it past a week without a fault with all the crap on them. I'm supprised I didn't find a circuit, fuse and a dozed relays for a fart sensor in the seats that would automatically turn on the cabin fan if it detected that the windows were rolled up. LOL. LOL. Shhhhh. My wife will want me to install one!
jimrankin
There are a couple of really high end cars that have "micro preforated" leather seats with air being pulled through them all the time. They claim it's just for "comfort" because we all know that the very rich don't actually fart. LOL.

jimrankin
Got the ECU pins from Loren and wired in the tester. Says a lot of Ok's, incomplete/inconclusive (only shows four letters?) missing etc. but did show four fault codes. They are P0450; evaporative emmision system pressure switch/ P0607; control module performance/P1298; electrical load detector high/ P1415; current sensor voltage low. Running through the service manual but it's mostly "check pin #X at connector #X (connectors I don't seem to have) and always seems to end with, as noted before, substitute a "known good ECU". Ultra busy at work and now I have a cold so the car will just have to wait it's turn I guess. Good thing for it that I love it so much or it would be developing some "kick dents" LOL. WestTexasS2K
Depending on your code reader. 0607 will show if the immobilizer is removed. Honda dealer computer is far more advanced and will not give such generalized codes the air pump is normal. 1298 and 1415 are abnormal.
