blubarisax Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Unfortunately, things are not looking good for me to attend. The rebuilding of my car is taking longer than I hoped for. The Chassis Body Unit just arrived in the USA today and it the car has to be completely reassembled. I'm very disappointed...
MichaelD Posted May 30, 2012 Author Posted May 30, 2012 Karl, Any chance of it turning around? How about for NJMP the following week? Summit Point in September and November are usually great as well.
blubarisax Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 I am still hopeful for NJMP. The shop says two full weeks to put it back together, but I am still missing a couple of parts. I'll know more next week.
Kitcat Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 I now have 2 cars. Wish I had a bigger trailer, I'd bring both:). Karl, you can always rent a car. One of the little spec racers the track rents maybe, or a spec Miata. The rent-a-racer place on SCDA site also has a track prep'd Camero for rent-I think you'd fit in it.
blubarisax Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Two cars, did I miss something? If I don't have my car done by then I'll get a rental Spec Racer. I think it's likely that I will be back on the road by then though. All my bits are here and just clearing customs today.
MichaelD Posted June 18, 2012 Author Posted June 18, 2012 Perfect weather, perfect track conditions and lots of fun. 7s in attendance: Michael Dougherty - Caterham Scott Lentz - Caterham Folis Jones - Birkin George Hillard - Birkin Jeff Duncan - WMC - Borken. Drove a BMW
Kitcat Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 The deer video is nightmarish. It seemed to materialize out of thin air. TG driver wasn't in a se7en!
blubarisax Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Now boys, I want you all to pay attention to the 33 second point. You might as well skip right to it and not bother watching the rest. Mike, I wish I could have been there, it sounds like fun. (Minus the mishaps.) Girls, Girls, Girls... (Hyperfest Hotties) - YouTube
