finding new roads...like nuggets of gold

Had a great blat yesterday. My neighbor, the lady doctor who runs triathalons (and has the buns of a 20 year old...but I digress) told me about a local road that is popular with the bicycle road riders.

Wow...twisty, dives in and out of two wooded valleys, includes an old one track wooden bridge with a lip to get some air (or pretend to) and also a down hill 1/2 mile straight to rev the beens out of her.

Good quality roads are hard to find where I live, its nice to find a little slice of heaven to escape to.

OK...so where is Limehouse?

This was a combination or Ford Drive north of the 401 (9th line), turn left onto Lower baseline and then work your way west to walkers line on lower baseline and lower baseline W and regional road 2

Twobone, the roads you describe use to be better 20 years ago, but they straightened much of it out in the name of progress.

Check out 15 Side Rd north of Burlington as well as Hockley Valley Rd north of Orangeville.

Lots of nice roads up in cottage country as well if you make a day or weekend out of it.
