Kitcat
As many know, I have listed my Birkin for sale. Prospective buyers are asking what the driver's size limit is. At 5'9", 160 lbs, I know I fit. Who is bigger and how well do you fit? It is the short-cockpit size wh/means more leg room than torso. So what is the upper limit?
11Budlite
Kitcat - I'm a little bit bigger at 5'10" 170 lbs and fit fine. My son is 6'0" and 190-200 lbs and fits ok but he is built bigger than me and is a little more cramped in the upper body. He doesn't have any problem driving it though! I have the seat all the way back and the pedal assy adjusted to the most rearward position. I'm pretty sure there were several Birkin owners that were in the 6'2" - 6'3" range. I did a quick search and found a good post by Bernie Long on how he fits in a Birkin. According to the post he's 6'4" and about 230 lbs: [/url]http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/birkinowners/message/12362
slomove
Some of the real tall Birkin owners either cut the windscreen down to a kind of aeroscreen (like Bernie Long) or installed a lowered floor with racing seats. Birkin does not offer this from the factory (as far as I know) but it is not difficult to do.
