DeanG Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) It looked like a fabulous event. Some great Se7en action. http://thegaragista.com/2012/11/10/japan-lotus-day-2012-ジャパン・ロータスデー2012-part-1/ http://thegaragista.com/2012/11/18/japan-lotus-day-2012-ジャパン・ロータスデ-2012-part-2-sevens-elans-ロータス-セブ/ Particularly interesting is the backwards 7 grill on one car. I would love to be able to visit Japan with our 7. An event like this would make life time memories. Edited November 19, 2012 by DeanG
ihckb2 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Very interesting. Great photos and captions. My Canadian Fejer 7 was bought out of Japan and I have been trying to trace how it actually got there. It came sans Watanabee Wheels and Toyota 70's 2TG twin cam 1600. It may have seen some of these events in its lifetime. Picture is pre-buy while in Japan.
Toyotus 7 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Nice car. I'm very interested in the Fejer cars and the variants that were put together on Vancouver Island in the early 80s. Do you know much about them?
Kitcat Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 (edited) Those pixs make the typical LOG gathering look small-time. Interesting fiberglass hardtops on a coupla se7ens, never saw that before. Unique combination of practicality and ugliness. It takes the amazing lines of the soft top se7en and totally ruins them. But to each his own, the car is probably faster/quieter/dryer, just less cool. Edited December 14, 2012 by Kitcat
ihckb2 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Hey Toyotus 7 where are you located? There are a few of us in B.C.
Al N. Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 I would consider this totally "on topic" btw. Thanks for posting Dean.
