Clamshell fenders

I am new to this forum and new to a 1993 Caterham Supersprint ownwership. The Caterham originally had clamshell fenders which were removed and replaced with the cycle fenders. Consequently the car has a series of mounting holes in the sides of the body. They are unsightly. I'm looking for the original fenders and/or creative ways to deal with the holes. At this time they are filled with ss bolts. I'm not a regular user of forums so please forgive any technical errors I have made in getting this posted.

Thanks for the lead Mike ! I'm thinking that you purchased that hot

Caterham race car that was selling in Washington. If so, I got to tell you

that I wanted it bad but I just retired my Norton Featherbed from motorcycle

racing (AHRMA) - my injuries over the years turned my body against me - and

"she who must be obeyed" convinced me to "take it easy. Yeah right, its

like telling your mates you are going to take it easy during practice. So I

purchased a 1993 Supersprint as a retirement car and would like to get it as

stock as possible. Hence, I'm after wings and perhaps other things.

Thanks again for your note and good luck with "my car"

Keep watching Pistonheads.com parts http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/parts-and-plates/parts-and-accessories/caterham

Theu had a brand new set of yellow glass clam shell and rear Caterham fenders for 400 lb. I don't think they sold and will likely be posted again. You migh also try Chip Bond at GT Classics in Charlottsville VA. He may have a set of new Caterham clam shells. 540-832-0307
