WestTexasS2K
OK you BEC guys I want to pick your brains a bit. Who is running a Busa engine? Are you still running the Fuel injection or carbs? How difficult is it to wire the fuel injection and coils is there a source that has a wiring diagram? I would like to build a BEC locost to go along with my Ultralite. But instead of going with a seven type vehicle I want to build something more like this http://www.twintechcars.com/ They have a good idea but use a horrible harley engine and then put an expensive VW based transmission that is heavy and big. If you were to use a sport bike engine in the front with a driveshaft to subaru IRS would be much smaller lighter and twice the power. I think that car could be done at 900 lbs. I think this could be a very fun car to build and would have a little more interior room due to the egg shape of the chassis. What do you guys think? BusaLoco
Who is running a Busa engine? . I am. Are you still running the Fuel injection or carbs? . Still running the fuel injection. BTW Why would I run carbs? How difficult is it to wire the fuel injection and coils? . Just use the Bike loom. Is there a source that has a wiring diagram? . Buy the Busa Bible (Hayabusa Manual) ... It has complete wiring diagrams. Good luck on your build! PS your car should be well under 900 lbs. The Busa engine weighs just 178lbs and a complete (Deman) Busa 7 can weigh as little as 985 lbs! WestTexasS2K
I would prefer to keep the FI. But some of the earlier motors had carbs, wasnt sure what year model you had. I will search ebay for a manual.
BusaLoco
I've got good news for you. The Busa only came with FI. ... The Busa Bible sais so. BTW you might like to research the T-REX. It's Kawa powered but would make a really good "trike" platform to copy! Promo Vids
locost7018
Also look at the Malone Skunk in Briton. That's a neat trike. Russ

WestTexasS2K
someone in the PA. area I'm guessing! That guy must know someone with a tubing roller. I have been looking for that same someone!
Jon W.
I'm into Locost cars and construction thereof. I built my own roll tubing bender for about $130. Eastwood sells one for $995. You can get a nice powered one for about $8k. See photos of it in action on: http://www.locostusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1503&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=
