BusaLoco
I was thinking about my next seven: I'm not interested in a CEC (Car Engined Car) and I've got a BEC (Bike Engined Car)
slomove
Quite impressive...almost looks like the Jay Leno roadster with the tank engine. I think this would make for a decent Sevens engine, too....IIRC a 5 or 6 liter Mercedes lump with quad turbo. Said to do some 1400+ bhp but when I saw it at a show it was obvious this was never run. Pretty bling, though and easier to fit in a Seven http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/298168137_120_2095 Large e-mail view.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/482581970_120_2097 Large e-mail view.jpg
scannon
Many years ago in California, I was passed an early VW panel bus. As I was in my '63 Corvette and moving pretty fast, I was extremely curious. I followed him at over 100 mph until he got off the freeway and pulled into a gas station. The whole bus was rocking side to side with a wicked exhaust note. I got the driver to open the side doors and inside was an Allison V-12 aircraft engine. I suspect it had a pretty good power to weight ratio. stevet
Talking of panel vans... I was fortunate enough to get a ride in Ford's 'Supervan 2' at the Brands Hatch circuit (1985 I think). Cosworth power and room for a fridge freezer plus it went like stink. Only two laps, but smiles a mile wide. http://www.nsva.co.uk/ford_supervan_page.htm
