Replacement foam for FuelSafe tank

My car is apart for winter maintenance. My mechanic is replacing the existing foam in my 21 gallon Fuel Safe tank (at my request). Looks like the official Fuel Safe foam is incredibly expensive (approx $800.00).

 

What is a good substitute, if anything? Not trying to cut corners on safety, but if there is a adequate substitute for a more reasonable price, I am all for it.

Harmon Racing Cells built me a complete FIA certified bladder, with foam and a collector, for an old Fuel Safe Lotus Seven cell, for around $1K. It might be worth giving them a call to compare prices. They are a small shop of prior Fuel Safe employees, from when FS was in California. I hope this helps.

The pellet solution I have used in the distant past in my original Lotus 7 when I raced it and it worked well in that car. I would use it again instead of foam if it were me.

I think a number of speed/race shops sell this kind of foam.

I have used this particular brand as it is good with fuels containing alcohol.

Or, ATL sells foam also, just bought a new cell for the Caterham race car from them, fantastic customer service.
