Off Road SHO Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 And to add to what Dave said, make sure the spiral cut tubing is rated for the heat of the engine compartment. Some plastics give it up when exposed to long periods of heat, others not so much. I think 105 degrees centigrade rated is what you want. I use the softer electronics grade in my business and therefore have used it to keep my looms neat and tidy, but the heat of the engine compartment turns it brittle within a few years. Tom
wemtd Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Thanks for the info everyone. My haltech engine harness looks like your picture: nice & neat with heat shrink and braided sleeve. The birkin chassis wiring is wrapped up in tape - and will stay that way unless i get really motivated. cheers. p.
