Blatting today!!!!

What a DAY!! Just perfect weather here in the Philly area. Took the slicks off, Put the fenders with the lights on, and put the street tires on. A quick tech check and my daughter and I were off.

 

At the first stop sign a guy in a pick up rolls by and says " nice Lotus"! Close enough! Absolutely perfect weather, Cool in the shade, Sun high in the sky. Opened it up on a few well known twistys and all is right with the world. Only thing missing was a sighting of another 7.

 

Forgot to put the ear plugs in so now the ringing is just starting to fade away. :lol: Forgot how brutal the wind buffeting is, since I've been Autoxing with a helmet. Two hours is just about right for a Blat.

 

As for those of you who are driving to the 7-7-7 event. I hope you have doors. :crazy:

Great day here in Atlanta too. I drove it to the mechanics' shop and then home and finally to the pool. All the parents and cool kids were very interested. Yesterday I got stopped by an ex-brit who kept saying, "That's a Super Seven! I haven't seen one in 25 years since I left the UK." I didn't say, "Rotus made in Maryland"
