eVox
What is the benefit of multipiece rims? Weight? Cool factor?
yellowss7
If you Ding a rim you can replace just the damaged piece. I have Three piece Magniesium Wheels, and I dinged just the outer rim, so I just bought that piece and it was a lot cheaper than replacing the whole wheel. They are cool though Tom
R1 Seven
Jeff did those Birkins have full windshields? based on what I found this last weekend, if you take off the windshield, the footwell stays completely cool - and in my car, it used to get so hot, that if you wore sandals, you could not keep your foot on the gas pedal. I'm not exaggerating. One did and the other did not (have a windshield). They were both kind of warm and I did not notice a huge difference between them. Alaskossie
Al, I missed that description of the Panasport wheels. Thanks. Tom Meacham Alaskossie
SR27.Seth
Al, I missed that description of the Panasport wheels. Thanks. Tom Meacham Alaskossie Tom- They are called CS-16 from Panasport. They are dimensionally made to our spec in Japan you need to know all of your caliper clearances, offset, bolt pattern and hub center diameter. A set of four 16" runs about $2200-2300- by the time you include the shipping. One piece wheels are half that price- but only one offset is usually available. I think a set of their rally-spec wheels would look nice on your Cossie!
