super7guy Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Hi, Sorry to report from SCCA info that a 14 yr old female kart driver was killed on Sunday in Fort Worth. To get back to the 7 thread, I found that by removing two switches next to each other that I could install two switches, a fuel pump switch and ECU switch. I did this after realizing that any passenger would have no control if something happened to the driver. I now feel much better to have two switches that can be "hit" and controlled off. For some reason as it gets hot, my ignition switch will not turn off; just hitting the fuel pump switch and the engine dies. I can see that any vehicle competing without full cage or strengthed windshield frame, could benefit from this modification. My battery switch is in the boot, so harder to get to access. Also extra theft protection. Wayne
