    New Toy

There's nothing wrong with the website. The steering is on the correct side otherwise the number plate would be reversed. http://usa7s.com/vb/images/icons/icon7.gif It spent the first 30 years of its life in Texas with the steering wheel on the wrong side. Was brought back home and had the steering corrected , whilst undergoing a complete restoration. I'll change the wipers back at some point. Its only a matter of moving the motor drive wheel 180deg, but not important. I'll put some more pics up later MHKflyer52. Thanks for the kind word chaps. I took it to the Goodwood Revival a couple of weeks ago and I never saw a better one all day! http://usa7s.com/vb/images/icons/icon14.gif Ade

    New Toy

Its not a Twin Cam, its a 1600 MKII. I looked at loads before I bought this one. It had a complete nut and bolt restoration in '99 and has only done 11,000 miles since. Underneath is as gleaming as the bodywork and solid as a rock. Never been out in the rain and I had to help the seller put the hood up so I could see it as he'd never used it. I have all of the documentation, history and an MG heritage certificate so I know its genuine. I have to say its one of the most beautiful cars I have ever driven.
  4. For what it's worth, it's not going down too well on the forums in the UK either. Although Caterham are calling it a concept, it's actually going on sale at the end of 2014. Ade

    New Toy

The Tiger has been sold and I have a nice new shiny toy to play with. Well, not so new as it is 52 years old! Performance is way down on the Tiger, but loving it as much if not more. Ade
  6. OK I know its in England, but if anyone happens to be over on holiday in April and wants a good day out (leaving wives to do their shopping related hobbies!) then look no further. 30 miles south/east of London. I only live 10 miles from the event so can easily pick anyone up from nearest railway station. http://www.detlingkitcarshow.co.uk/ Ade
  7. Forget Morgan and their overpriced piece of English Nostalgia. These are far better and miles cheaper to. A friend has one and they are so light they go like stink! http://www.triking.co.uk/
  8. They're Donkervoorts. A Dutch 7. http://www.donkervoort.com/en/ Ade
  9. The Europa was not one of my favourite Lotus's either, but recognize them as a true classic now. The Eclat on the other hand........No No No!!! Ade
  10. Knowing Stuart Mills, who designed the Sonic 7, I really think that it is a number that just sounds good with the word Sonic. I'm sure he doesn't see it as a real alternative to the Seven ethos. He is certainly very prolific in bringing out new models and seems to have a new one every month. He usually sells the rights to MEV (Mills Extreme Vehicles) after a little while to Road Track Race. http://www.roadtrackrace.co.uk/rtr_sonic7.html Ade

    Hi from the UK

The Super Six is regarded as a bit of a classic and is no longer produced as a kit. it was sold from 1990 until 2008 and mine is one of the last kits sold dating from 2006. It was replaced by the Tiger R6. The "R" standing for "round tube" as in the chassis design. It also has a more modern IRS set-up where mine is a live-axle. The Tiger range is designed by Jim Dudley who used to race Lotus 7's back in the sixties. He wanted to design his own car to race with, and the rest is history. Here is some more information about the various Tiger models. http://www.tigerracing.com/cars.php Ade

    Hi from the UK

Thanks guys for the warm welcome. Steve, the Kent Cams I have are the KCFZ2001 type. Here's a you tube link of my car. It was built in 2006 and has gone through a few changes since then. I'll post up some better pics later. Its not normally that clean Mike with our climate over here. Not into cricket but love rugby. Can't wait for the Six Nations to start! Ade
  14. Hi guys. OK I know its a USA club, but I'm sure you wont mind a Brit devotee joining the ranks. I live in Rochester, England (Charles Dickens) country, and my car is a Tiger Super Six. Not sure if there are any in the USA, but I've included a couple of pics for now. Engine is a Ford Zetec 2.0 with Kent Cams and Weber 45 DCOE's. Its in bits at the moment due to a winter re-build, ready for the warmer weather! I'd be interested if there are any Tigers out there. Cheers all, Ade
