  1. Have a Lotus 7 series 2. Parts list calls for Anglia tie rod ends. Anyone know of another replacement that is more readily available? Thanks
  2. Interested in selling your spare?
  3. If that's the Caterham dual Weber/Dellorto manifold, I want it.
  4. I use a 2 inch (about 1/2" thick) rubber floor protector stuck to the trans tunnel (I have RHD) with double sided tape. Just above the clutch pedal. Works great. I also have small feet.
  5. Yeah. Tried all of those. Seems with such a limited production it shouldn't be dificult to get build records. Thanks.
  6. Thanks. Emailed the previous owner (owned it since 1976). He may have some info. Hoping to find an original type engine to rebuild. Hope its a Kent. Have more experience with it than sidevalve.
  7. Thanks, Steve. I have Rees' book. I was hoping I could get a definitive chassis number/engine relationship. My car is RHD and could have been a factory build. One would assume that there are records somewhere.
  8. Recently purchased a 1962 Series 2 Chassis number SB1211. Current engine is a 1600 xflow which is not original. Am trying to find out what engine came originally in the car. The registration plate says the original engine was "S267210F". I'm guessing that it is either a Ford sidevalve or a BMC "A" engine but can't find any identifying info on the web. Anybody got any ideas?
  9. Nice car. Should go quickly.
  10. And thanks to you, Al and everyone else who worked so hard to get this thing off the ground. Amazing what's been accomplished in a little over 3 years. Proud to be a part of it. Saw my Seven disappear over the horizon 3 hours ago. Kind of sad. I'll definately miss cruising the Dragon on warm Summer days but I'm looking forward to new adventures.
  11. Thanks to all who responded to the thread. I was amazed at the interest. The car has been sold to a gentleman in Dallas, Texas. It hasn't left my garage yet and I'm already feeling seller's remorse.
  12. Actually the engine develops about 140HP. I have dyno graph showing 113 at the rear wheels. Don
  13. Thanks, no. Looking for either an MX5 or Elise.
  14. Ear plugs are optional but recommended
  15. View of the port side
  16. As requested, here's a few more pics.

Need a car for casual touring with spouse. Possible trade for well-appointed MX-5. Car is located near Knoxville, TN. Price is $24K. 18. Ran across this in Ebay. Good deal if you need any of this stuff http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160372735941&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3ASS%3AUS%3A1123 Don
  19. BTW My Seven was a 62nd birthday present to myself. Don
  20. Steve Don't have any detail shots. I'll put a few together tomorrow and forward. In the meantime, here's one I do have. Don
  21. Steve I have a '92 Caterham which I was planning to offer for sale next Spring but would consider selling now if a buyer presented him(her)self. It is a BRG Classic with De Dion rear and LSD. Engine is 1700 Super Sprint with DCOE's. and Kent 244 cam. It has approx. 4000 miles on a complete mechanical rebuild by Chip Bond of GT Classics in Va., a Caterham dealer. All receipts are available. I can furnish more complete specifications if you are interested. Car is in Eastern Tennessee and I am asking $24,500. Don
  22. I received a new Odyssey PC680 on 2/12/09 as a replacement for one that had failed. I have decided to go back to a lawn/tractor battery and will sell the Odyssey and an Omax 6A1B (made specifically for this battery) for $150 plus UPS (will not separate). The battery has never been installed. Please note that, inasmuch as this is a replacement battery, Odyssey will only warranty it for two years from the original battery purchase (6/07). The OMAX 6A1B charges the battery until full charge and automatically reduces to a trickle charge. Can be left connected indefinately. Charger comes with quick-connect. Don
  23. I have not received a packet as yet. Don
