  1. Cheers! Go for it! Here is another example of Ultralite, owned by my wife. Been with us a year and a half with couple of trips to Dragon and North Georgia Mountains. I would be interested in the manual as well.
  2. Resurrecting old thread, but maybe it helps someone else as well. I am in process of getting an ownership of WCM Ultralite, the year it was marked to be built was 2004. The radiator fan has rubbed against the core, and the radiator needs replacing. The AFCO model above has drainage plug in lower left corner in those pictures, and the current damaged radiator from car shows coolant temp sensor, and it is at upper left corner, if the inlet and outlet are on right, as shown in AFCO photo above. Without being with the car, I'd have to ask if someone knows, is this the temp sensor for ECU, or is it for the gauge? Would anyone know the model of the temp sensor used, and the thread type? Would anyone know the AFCO drain plug thread type? Will there be any other interferences than the length of the wire, if the sensor moves from one corner to another? Thanks hr-k
  3. Up for sale is 2008 Suzuki 1340 cc B-King motor, same as in Gen 2 Hayabusa. The motor is complete with bike wiring harness, computer, gauges, headers, airbox, throttlebodies and injectors. The motor is completely stock except K&N air filter and cold air intake for B-King. I have ridden 7,000 out of 12,000 miles, changed oil twice during my time, no problems whatsoever. Reason for selling is I had a crash with bike, will be out of riding for a few months. Has some scrapes on stator and clutch cover. No leaks, starts and runs as new.
  4. Experimenting on different sizes. I think 15x13 work ok, but fastest times are still done on 13x10 wheels. Thank you Kyle Barnett and Chad Summey for the photo.
  5. What a guy! Dragon 5.0 Hillclimb overall winning run.
  6. Thanks for the kind words. We had a talk with certain Frenchman and he approved the Dragon Hillclimb as seen on the photo The engine is now fully build, the cams are original, but rods, pistons etc are all modified. Crank is otherwise original except it has been dynamically balanced along with other rotating parts. The turbo is from old combination, and it is too small for the motor, but will be run for now as is.
  7. Thanks, it is the same road, just second event on this road. Mike was doing great times there, now when the car is used to the road he should come back again.
  8. I would like to invite Sevens to Dragon Hill Climb in Joyce Kilmer National Forest, Robbinsville NC on August 3rd - 4th. This is fifth time that when the event has been organized, and it enjoys great support from local community. The format is like special stage on WRC asphalt rally, race against time on closed 2.2 mile track through beautiful scenery. Standing start with lights cutting the time, no car contact possible, the course is guarded by Armco or stone walls, no real change of serious accident with a tree or head on to some object or even fall. At the top is beautiful viewing area and there are several waterfalls, one just at the starting area. Drivers will get several runs per day and the fastest one counts on Sunday afternoon for trophies. Car and Driver needs to meet SCCA Time Trial Level 4 requirements, for Sevens minimum might be rollbar with two bracing support is usually sufficient, fire extinguisher, 6-point harness and master kill switch are needed. Driver needs to have full gear suits, helmets shoes and gloves and in open cars arm restraints. Licensing can be done there by participating their novice program unless you have SCCA or NASA license eligible for hillclimbs already. NASA competition or Time Trial licenses should be good. Entry and more info http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/frmEventDetail.Show?psevent_id=14221 Event website http://www.dragonhillclimb.com/ I have been there all four times, had a blast every time! Feel free to ask anything about the event. If you are not racing, come and spectate, it is free for spectators and you will see very nice cars participating! Heikki Rinta-Koski

  10. Come and see some hillclimbing in Robbinsville NC. http://www.dragonhillclimb.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/dragonIIIsupphead-1024x368.jpg More info http://www.dragonhillclimb.com See you there!
  11. Bruce, Yes you need to have SCCA Time Trial license, class 4. You can run with Competition license and in this event they honored NASA competition or Time trial licenses. Awesome video footage can be found here: #68-Blue Volvo on Vimeo You can select cars from the list on the right. Seven is still on the works as of today. We did a promotional video with my seven and couple of chase cars for SCCA to use promoting these climbs. Had a bit too much fun on that... hr-k
  12. The event was great! I attended my first hillclimb with Locost 7. The scenery, arrangements, support from locals, new people, all were great. I will for sure return. The course was 2.2 mile and quite rough. The surface was grainy and there were lots of bumps and washboard, couple tightening corners and very intimidating in general, being two lane mountain road with rocks, trees and armco. The event was two days and I got 13 timed runs, some people got more, depending how early one went to queue in. Photos and videos can be seen: http://ccrscca.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tt&action=display&thread=4593 I ended up with class win (SPO) and third overall, behind GT3 Porsche and Formula continental. Probably the most fun weekend I have had with cars. HRK
  13. Thanks for arranging great event! There was one at http://www.tailofthedragon.com/ http://www.tailofthedragon.com/pics2007/0707/sevens_wide.jpg hrk
  14. Hi, I signed for autocross a few months ago, but there was no option to pay. Do we pay on site and how much will it be? Is there a collected schedule for the weekend with places where one needs to be. Heikki, original handraiser who has then fallen off the sledge.
