  1. As I said I am OK for both dates. We have a few for 29th already so that is a definite. Not to throw a monkey wrench in this but I am fine if we start on the 29th at 11 am.
  2. " Sevens and Elans advertises a kit " I bought my mirrors there 12 years ago. Don't remember them costing that much though.
  3. It is sort of a shame there are Republicans and Democrats and not American citizens. Seems if the Rep have a good idea and the Dem secretly like it, they will vote against it just because. If the Dem have a good idea and the Rep secretly like it, they will vote against it just because. And of course always blame the other side in either case. Plus spend 4 years after an election doing nothing but trying to get the opposition out (by any means!).
  4. Skip - great pictures. Picked out about 35 cars I would like!!!!
  5. I like that idea.
  6. Thanks. Just trying to think how I could make up something so I could use those mirrors with 10mm threads and still retain the thread size that Caterham uses. I have some ideas.
  7. Anyone know what the thread size is of the 4 bolts that Caterham uses for the standard windshield mount? Bruce
  8. I am game for a second drive on Sunday if you are interested and anyone else.
  9. Tom - I think I saw your mirrors in an older post???? Nice.
  10. I only want the Brooklands because they look cool. Buffeting doesn't bother me at all. I kind of like it.
  11. Emailed Caterham USA for parts but no reply yet. Also emailed two east coast dealers. No reply yet.
  12. Tom - perfect. Thanks. It all sounds easy enough. Wonder why Caterham did not use these from the start! Any US dealer selling all the bits and pieces?
  13. Skip - the two bottom nuts holding the bracket in place, I assume holes are drilled and bolts added? In other words these holes/bolts are not already there? Very helpful picture. It is much clearer what needs to be done. Still not sure if my panels are screwed in though. I can always take out the rivets and add screws.
  14. As I recall the knee panels are riveted in. I'll check when I get to the car Sep 22. Thanks Bruce
  15. Airport it is. And those vertical stripes on those English planes had nothing to do with the French flag. Seems they all had that insignia back then.
  16. Mike - not sure where these go. I have panels on the inside. Must these panels be removed? I was under the impression when the windscreen bracket came off it already have captive nuts. Bruce
  17. Looks like there will be at least 3 of us. Any others? Steve Boxologist Me Bruce
  18. Thanks all. Answers my questions. Now I just have to decide if I want to do this or not.
  19. Skip - thanks. I thought someone had the whole package already put together. Are goggles necessary of do the Brooklands deflect enough?
  20. I think I saw it here somewhere but where can one buy these already fixed to a mounting bar for easy attachment to the standard screen points? Bruce
  21. About one month away. We are so far set for Saturday Sep. 29 at 10 am Milford church. I am assuming lunch at Ship Inn? Or Frenchtown Inn which has exceptional food. I can arrange parking for our cars all in one area at Frenchtown. Bruce
  22. I am 6'1" size 12 and really have no problem. I drive barefoot sometimes. It does get hot but I llke it hot!
  23. My crossflow stays at around 90 C. Tad higher in heat but not much.Never saw it reach 110.
