  1. Carl, you may want to email Sugino. I believe he sold his car already, so this collection may be gone too. You may email him by clicking on his user name (next to his post), and when the next page comes up, click the email button. Welcome to the forum.
  2. I guess I'll have to go rent and see. I know a number of you mentioned this show as part of your connection to the Seven, so I'll have a look see. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/cheers2.gif
  3. Mine is a little bent out of shape too, but it also has a huge hole in the middle
  4. My Ody is holding up fine after a year, despite me completely killing it at least 5 or 6 times by keeping the OBD diagnostic port plugged in. I've just jump started it.
  5. Anyone here have the series? Where is the easiest place to rent / watch it? I've never seen it.
  6. I love ONABLAT http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/thumbsup.gif
  7. Rob, glad to see the car in your driveway finally. Drive it as often as you can http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/smile5.gif
  8. I don't have any security measures. If I don't trust where I'm parking the car, I disconnect the ignition switch from behind the dash, and push my brake in extra hard. The thief would have to know to push the brake pedal very hard to disengage the parking brakes. Of course this means everyone here knows how to steal my car now http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/leaving.gif I do have some prototypes for remote GPS tracking via the web, but haven't installed any on my car.
  9. We need to coordinate the look of the silhouettes with Magnus F. His wife is planning to design a silhouette for the club logo next week. ----- Oh, and on our trip, don't foret that we'll be sampling the food too http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/wink5.gif
  10. FSAE = Formula SAE SAE = Society of Automotive Engineers SAE sets many of the automotive industry standards. FSAE is a competition open to learning institutions. Students design and build a formula car from ground up, and enter it into a competition.
  11. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/rofl.gif I'll use that as a future Avatar
  12. KENLUDE97, something is wrong with your Avatar. I've watched it for an hour, and the car hasn't hit a cone yet. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrinjester.gif
  13. Steve Wann in Williamsburg has a rotary powered Rotus. I think his is turbo. Joe Worsley has a N/A rotary powered Rotus. He is in NC.
  14. Calvin, are you signed up for 7/7/7?
  15. TTT We've had 13 new members in the last week. Time for a bump on this topic http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/bigear.gif
  16. I'm autocrossed out at the moment (just spent the entire day in the rain autocrossing). You may want to contact forum member Steve Wann. He is in Williamsburg, but I'm not sure how often he checks in. He has a Rotory powered Rotus.
  17. Autox gods were against us today. It started raining a few hours before the autox, and it got progressively heavier. Russ was braver than me, and brought his Birkin. It stopped raining on the way back home http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/skep.gif I have a short vid of Russ, I'll post it later.
  18. I will have ground clearance issues with 13" wheels for sure.
  19. Jerry, great writeup. The image thing is due to my doing. I have stopped messing with the site since a migration to VBulletin is planned. I will have to make this event next year. 180 laps is insane.
  20. Posted on behalf of Fred Gerkens. >http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lotus-Lotus-7-Series-IV-Lotus-Seven-Series-IV-LBS42854GT-not-running_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6312QQihZ008QQitemZ180038093726QQrdZ1
  21. Yes, That used to be Tim A.'s car and is now owned by Russ.
  22. My car came with these old BBS racing wheels. After alot of calling around, I finally called BBS and after giving them some serial numbers and description of the wheels, they told me that I would have to deal with them directly for anything for the wheels. I finally got around to figuring out how much these things weigh. According to my bathroom scale, the tire/wheel combo is 38.5 lbs. Looking at tire specs, Toyo RA1 at 225 50 R 15 weighs 23 lbs. So the wheel should weigh 15.5 lbs. How is this against today's light weight wheels? I *think my rims are 8" wide, but not sure.
  23. Yes. Jim from Coveland was a pleasure to deal with.
  24. They're on hold for ya. I'll have to take pics of their problem areas, but that won't be for another few days. I have to get these things mounted before Tuesday. I'm autocrossing, and they're calling for rain . If it's light rain, I'll take her, but even in light rain, there'd be too much spray with no fenders.
  25. new fenders from Coveland... They will do very nicely http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/slngsht/CIMG1070.JPG
