  1. "bearly" noticeable.....
  2. Thought you all might like to see this.
  3. That is what I was thinking also. We shall see.
  4. What a day! Found out today the state lost my paperwork for registration ughhhhhh, but not until after they cashed my tax check! But all is not lost, talked to a Lt. Jim with the state police and he promised to contact me tomorrow to give me the address to resend the documents. Think I will FEDEX it this time. He seemed truly sorry for the problem, and willing to speed the process along. Fortunately, I kept all the originals so I just need to resend copies. GB
  5. Very funny
  6. I have the loaner, got it from another owner. I am sure he would let you use it.
  7. Have a safe trip. Anyone know how long it might take him?

    Great Video

One my God, this one was great fun to watch. http://www.streetfire.net/video/tommy-in-dads-caterham-r500_2044306.htm http://www.streetfire.net/video/second-video-of-tom-in-dads-caterham-r500_2045285.htm Glenn
  9. Thanks, the aluminum work is not stock but several have used this approach. I just like the look of any 7's mechanicals. They are all so purposeful.
  10. I just took my body parts to the paint shop, and as I walked back in I looked at the car. I have to admire the look even without all the body on it. These cars really are packaged well.

    Eddie Hill

Eddie The ultima was the car I was interested in. I had looked at the gtr before I bought a Super Stalker. If all the keys are hanging, and you are just out for a drive, which do you grab?

    Eddie Hill

How do you like the gtr compared to the atom?
  13. I thought the funniest comment was by hddorton "A little pee came out when I watched it again".
  14. Thought I would pass this on for seven fans..... The final results are in! * John Meyers crushed the largest group of racers (Independent Varsity) with a best time of 2:00.871 around the Full Course at Virginia International Raceway. Conditions were hot, very hot. The next best of the Independent Varsity racers was a Corvette with a lap time of 2:03.570. * There were three other Seven type cars in the event with the next fastest being a Caterham that posted a time of 2:11.774. There were many spectacular cars that were slower than John. Imagine having a Ferarri 430 Challenge that was not able to keep up. How about a Corvette Z06? * The only cars that posted a time*faster than John was a factory Dodge Viper ACR-X, an 800 HP Dodge Challenger, a Nissan GT-R, a Porsche GT2 and a SuperFormance GT40. These were all Shop cars, ie. professionally prepared race cars. I would love to see all of them make it to the Ambush at the end of August! * Special mention must got he BMW who put an X6M SUV in the competition and ran a 2:19.518. Nice! * Look for the full write up in an upcoming Grassroots Motorsports Magazine! * Congratulation John and a special mention to Denise who makes it all possible for John! * Paul & Jeremy
  15. Pull one fuse at a time, and see if you can isolate which system may be the issue. Once you find the system check the grounds first. Good luck. GB
  16. Tragic when someone passes suddenly, at least the family can find solace knowing he was doing something he loved. God Bless

  18. It is true. I rode is one, and it was blindingly quick. The torque in a car this light was impressive to say the least. GB
  19. Besides speedcast, what other sites have you found for watching or listening to racing online?
  20. The point was if you don't want to read it, don't! Plenty of other sections to browse. Part of the problem today is too many people are afraid to say anything, and sometimes the ones complaining the loudest are the least informed regardless of what their views are.
  21. I just completed a super stalker build, and could not be happier. The car is fantastic, and the guys in the forum have been very helpful. I selected the car because I liked the looks, it handled beautifully, and I liked the owners I met. I am about slightly bigger than your size, and fit very comfortably in the car. The pedals can easily be adjusted or moved back. Most guys use a ls rear end. The car in the photo has an ls6 v8, and is one of the quickest street cars I have ever seen. It is owed by a really nice guy, how has been very helpful to me in my build. Several v8 cars have been completed recently. Your decision is really going to be a personnel choice. I have been very happy with mine.
  22. You can make a trip down to Chicago area for a couple of superstalkers
  23. Yea maybe for them, but from the view here I think it's pretty cool.
  24. The smile says it all. Congrats. GB
