  1. Fedex I'm waiting for something else bought on ebay last week. We'll see how that one work.
  2. Just received a $460 exhaust (new) from MK Motorsports in England today here in California. No tax or tariff added.
  3. If it's under $800 it should be exempt from tariff

    Rolex Reunion

We will be there with the Seven and the Elise! Driving from Santa Monica Wednesday morning!
  5. Well, that sounds like what I already did on mine too except for the injectors
  6. It appears that defective coil pack was the culprit. Thanks for all your help and suggestions.
  7. So we'll maybe see you Sunday. We're shooting for Güntherwerks, they have a very special car unveiling for car week
  8. Doing Motorlux (because free tickets), Quail (because free tickets) and Laguna Seca Sunday for a client.
  9. Definitely! The 7 and our Elise as well. And if it's not fixed, I can borrow my friend's R310 (but I'd like mine better)
  10. News of the day (not saying that it's fixed). Replaced the coil pack, battery and spark plugs wires (not saying that was the cause). I drove it for about 30-40 minutes with no troubles. Car pulls hard to 7k+ rpm, idling stable at 1,100 rpm. Engine starts right away. I'll drive it more tomorrow and Monday (unfortunately I'm swamped with work). To be continued...
  11. Yes, the OBD2 reader didn't show anything other than the O² sensor missing (been there since day one)
  12. Took it to the shop this morning, drove it hard, car was running amazingly well, didn't cut off once, and I was video ready (of course). Trying to find an exorcist. Fuel pump is hard to reach so we'll explore more alternatives before going that route.
  13. California Highway, 5 lanes to cross to get to the shoulder... I'm not taking the risk with a miniature car slowing down in the middle of the traffic... Someone already clipped my rear wing because "he couldn't see me"...
  14. It always happens on the freeway, impossible to pull over, but check my previous post
  15. It has been replaced, it wasn't that
  16. Had a conversation with Scotticus 2 days ago and I think he got it right. The culprit seems to be, that goddamn fuel pump I drove it yesterday in "quiet mode" on the freeway, all was working fine but 10 minutes after cruising at 65-70mph, it happened again. Car slows down, depressing clutch, engine restarts. Drove it this morning in "warrior mode" on the freeway, after a few miles (like 8-10 miles) it started acting again, but way way more, like 3 or 4 times in a row. Slowed down as I was exiting the freeway, no more cut offs. I'll have the fuel pump removed this weekend and try to find a replacement asap. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to Monterey Car Week mid August. To be continued...
  17. My bad, I'm working on my second screen at the same time and I must have slipped...
  18. Imagine driving and turning the ignition key off. That's what it does. If I'd let it roll to zero mph it'd feel the same as stalling. When it happens, while driving, I depress the clutch and it restarts without releasing the clutch (not like if I was trying to start a car with a dead battery).
  19. Needle shows zero, it's obvious the engine components and transmission are still moving... I sent a message to Steve Beck. I wouldn't mind driving the car to LA.
  20. And yet... it does restart. Every time.
  21. I'm with you there, if the engine was just turning off, but what I don't get is that it restarts immediately without hesitation as soon as I depress the clutch
  22. Tach shows zero as soon as the engine cuts off and before I depress the clutch.
