This is the reply I received when I emailed a question to "Wire Wheel" back in April (before the price reduction.) "Thanks for your note with interest in the Birkin CS3. This car is currently being shipped to me but is held up in Miami, FL by US Customs. We are buying back from a customer in St. Maartin. I hope to know more within a couple of weeks, if not sooner." The comment "Sold for Export Only" would imply that there are some customs issues.

I am sure the measurements were not perfectly accurate, but 4.4 liters equates to 0.9678 UK gallons thus he was probably getting around 36.2 miles per UK Gallon, which converts to approximately 30.1 miles per US Gallon. Still not too shabby with the level of horse power. The best way to get good mileage is not use the brake (and the associated light on the loud pedal...which isn't too common in a Seven!) :_deadhorse: -

Dave, What was involved in fabricating the ABS "fender spats"? Where did you purchase the ABS sheet material? How did you affix them to the fenders?

It will be interesting to see how the "Strict Constructionists" view this issue. Generally they fit into the camp of the right to keep arms. An argument will be made today that writers of the Constitution were limiting the scope of the Constitution to State sponsored militias and that each state has the right to institute its own laws relative to individual citizens keeping guns. The end result is a conflict for "Strict Constructionists."
