Just got this from RetroSpec Parts, another one of my 2CV parts suppliers... all sales to USA suspended until further notice. "USA: Due to Trump's recent decision to abolish the tax exemption that allowed small packages worth less than $800 to enter the US duty-free, and the uncertainties and delays that this is causing, orders are currently suspended to the United States. We do not currently know when this will change or how much tax the US authorities will charge to recipients." This is could have been a big setback in my timeline of the 2CV restoration seeing as the majority of the parts that I need to work on my 2CVs come from overseas. I'd be dead in the water without my canadian mailbox...

I live quite close to the border, so I got myself a mailbox at the UPS store in Kingston Ontario. It’s been useful for getting parts for my 2CV from France. The supplier I’ve used stop shipping to America altogether because of the uncertainties of the tariffs and how they were going to be applied.
