No affiliation but I live three houses down the street... http://www.Princetonlotus.com Kyle

  8. Al and all, The car is on eBay so if you are interested, let me know. I will end he auction there early with money in hand, otherwise I have to let it play out. The reserve is a little less than what I am asking here so if you are thinking seriously about it send me an email or message here. Kyle
  9. I also have the owners manual and the full build manuals printed out and in PDF format...
  10. Lookig through what I have I can tell you this: Casting stamp on the block is 1999, the code for the engine itself indicates use in a car prodcued 2/00. The following is a summary of what is reresented by the receipts in my posession: Intake system is a 45mm Jenvey, Raceline Manifold Cylinder Heads ported and polished Compression test pre-dyno: 125/130/130/125 Dyno sheet for 192 at the flywheel Emerald M3DK ECU Transmission is a T9 with semi-helical gearkit, also have a receipt for a T9 rebuild kit Quaife alloy top cover, gearlever/shifter assembly, LSD Cams are from Crower (San Diego CA) I have the intake/exhaust open/close timing for anyone interested Receipts for: Wet sump kit, ZX3 front cover kit and engine breather catch can, master and slave cylinders, FocusSport underdrive pulley, aluminum flywheel, Central Coast Motorsports (Focus Central) camshafts and piston set, CNC-Motorsports Eagle ESP 3D H Beam connecting rods Most of the parts were shipped to Stewart's Automotive in Sacramento Californis so I assume they did the engine work. Kyle
  11. Guys, The car would need an OBDII that was not used until after 1996... The aftermarket Emerald system would have to be replaced and then I'd have to hope that it would pass. (all the other internal mods may trigger fault codes etc and fail me anyway). Then every two years this would have to be done again so it could go for inspection. NJ sucks by the way. I have done the research and did not take this decision lightly, I am selling the car. The merits of what 'could' be done can be argued elsewhere. Kyle
  12. All, I can't believe that I am writing this but after my NJMVC inspection and some sould searching I am reluctantly putting my Birkin up for sale only two months (actually less) after I got it here to NJ. The car has only a few hundred miles on it since it came off the trailer, most to Calrisle and back. I have been trying to get the car titled, registered and legally on the road for over a month and after my inspection this week, I don't think that will ever be possible here in NJ. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the car. Most of the issues were nitpicky about the way the wiring is connected to the fram and the size of the steering wheel. The big one, the one I am not willing to spend the money and time on, is the lack of an OBDII plug which is required on by NJ for any car with a post 1996 engine. The car was fully legal, titled and registered in Texas when I bought it and should be again in probably any state but NJ...@#$%^!!!! More on the car: Purchased 4/09 from Texas Motor Works. Red body and cycle fenders with a silver stripe, black interior, comes with top and birkini, door and tonneau cover, tool kit, spare etc Zetec engine with raceline rail, upgraded cam and other internals, dyno = 190+ HP Suspension is corner weighted Quaife LSD I have a lot of documentation from the original owner on what was done, receipts etc. Asking $25k IM me or email at kstiermd at gmail dot com more pics etc if requested I have added a thrid brake light (LED bar on the roll bar cross member), a new shift knob and a catalytic converter since these pics were taken (attempt to meet NJ regs). I still have the old longer connector if you want to swap out the cat.
  13. I agree with all of the above. Thanks to Mike for the seat in his car and to Bruce for the route. The only thing missing was my car and a little better weather...I thought about you all while I was driving home in the Mini! Thanks again.
  14. Dick Brink has some new listings on his site... http://www.texasmotorworks7.com
  15. Got everything figured out, splced from the driver side brake wire and ran it up through a small hole in the 'trunk' right next to the upright for the roll bar. Have to get some conduit to cover it up but I hooked white (light) to yellow (car) and brown (light) to gray (car) and got the middle and both end lights to work with the brake. Added in the green and yellow lights from the light and now they all come on when the pedal is depressed. Some basic stuff left to mount it and it'll be all set. Thanks for the input. Kyle
  16. I will try and get some more inofrmation when I am home this evening. It is a Slimline light bar, 11 lights, four wires, advertised as a third brake light or trailer ID bar. It may also be a turn signal? which I believe is why it requires the 4 wires. There was no manual or even instructions, just my receipt and the light in a plastic bag in the box. Kyle
  17. In keeping with the frankenstein theme, I like ITSALIV...
  18. The pun is fully intended. I have a third brake light that I will be adding to the Birkin in anticipation of an upcoming NJ State Inspection. It is a four wire light. Having never done this on a car before (I've installed electrical in the house) can anybody tell me what I will need to get the light to work as intended. All I need is for it to come on when I am on the brakes... There is only about a foot of wiring so I will need to splice into one of the brake lights and extend up to the mounting point on the roll bar cross member. Which wires do I need to extend? Is it all four or just the hot and ground for the brakes? Any explanation would be most appreciated. Thanks. Kyle
  19. Congrats...I have been skirting by on a temporary from Texas but scheduled my inspection for June 23rd (the first available slot!)...all I did was go buy the thing and I'm anxious and chomping at the bit so I can only imagine what the process is like for you guys that built your Sevens up from scratch. Have agood long weekend with Lucky! Kyle
  20. Mine was documented by the previous owner as 192 at the flywheel, Birkin with a Zetec, upgraded cam, flywheel, fuel injectors, emerald management etc. No idea what is lost between engine and wheels but it should be less than in your typical production vehicle since there is nothing drawing off power (AC, radio etc.). Kyle
  21. Five, two at Texas Motorworks (one of which is now parked in my garage), another for sale locally in Texas, Croc's SV and another that was for sale locally in NJ. Overall two Cats, three Birkins, four with a Zetec and one with a 1700 crossflow...hopefully there will be more to come, mine or other's... Kyle

    Carlisle 2009

I agree, nice to put faces with names (user IDs), didn't get to drive the V8 but it sounded real nice. By the way, overcast skies should not prevent you from using sunscreen, somthing I will remember after my first extended drive with no top on...
  23. I'd probably be up for it, I'll have to check with the wife and family etc etc etc... It should be ok though since I'd be away for only a few hours... You should try and include Jack, Mike (Croc), Al Navarro (he can ride as a passenger), Roman (EvilRomeo) and Alan and Kathy...(just met them at Carlisle today) Kyle
  24. I knew I should have paid the shipper the extra $ for the enclosed trailer...
  25. Another NJ seven is officially on the map
