Getting too old to run at 10/10th in this car on road circuits. Time to let it go. Car has no title. This is purpose built race car and not a show car. It would be difficult to convert for street use. It is a single-seater with the ATL fuel cell in the passenger side. Very well balanced and easy to setup for cross weight. I never put it on a dyno it but it is quick for a 1.4 liter car and handles well at the limit. The car can run in SCCA D Modified autocross or Time Trials Unlimited 1 (or Unlimited 2 with adding 200lbs of lead weight) Car weighs around 1370 lbs without driver. Stock GM Ecotec 1.4 Turbo motor, E-85 stand alone race tune with matched 60lb injectors by Jerry at Bad News Racing using HP Tuners (software licenses and HP Tuners OBD II computer interface cable comes with the car). For Tires: Just buy used tires are are run on Formula cars like Formula Atlantic/Indy Lights and P1 (prototype class) cars in in SCCA. They use them for qualifying then sell them cheap with more than 75% tread left. The set I just got this week were off a USF2000 Formula car Continental slicks. https://www.continentalracetire.com/usf-2000 The set of 4 tires were only $425 including shipping UPS to me in Indiana and look to have about 90% tread. Should last me 4-5 full weekends of TT. I get my tires from John Berget Racing Tires in WI. https://www.jbracingtires.net/ Tires are the biggest expense if you run a lot of track events. Saves your nice street wheels and tires for the street.

Yes. Less drag. I also changed a lot of things like spring rates and radial road race tires. More work to do but then again, a race car project is never finished.

I used a Clutchmasters aluminum flywheel with a solid disc four puck. Custom clutch was made for me for around $400 (I think). Time for an update. I made a MkII version with a Chevy Ecotec Turbo 1.4L mated to a Borg Warner T-5R. Still using the Mazda LSD from the original RX-7. Pretty quick.
