My kinda seven guy......keep on keepin on,comin thru the pearly gates full bore,sideways drift and all movin parts worn out.....

It's just a number......a old as you feel, and that car knocks twenty plus years off me every time I strap into the silly seat..:driving:

I am the magic youthful age of 63 and have no delusions as to the type of car I drive, she is Basic with a capital B. Good sense is the order of the day where weather is concerned and I have a healthy regard for longevity. Having said that,I do take the car out in less than perfect conditions, and you still can't wipe that stupid grin off my wet, wind blown face.

Oh my, here we go again...the whole point of our machines is to get back to the basic thrill of open top motoring. Wind in your face, engine and exhaust noise, becoming that boy racer again. Which one to buy, or build, there is no right answer to that question and we all have our own opinions as to the virtues of our brand of choice. Brand name to one side, get out and meet as many "seveners"as possible, you'll find most of us very approachable and more than willing to take future owners for a spin.....as to inclement weather driving, I have driven my 7 in rain and snow and yes I have the full soft top and side screens, getting in and out with the top up is an aquired knack but once done a few times becomes not a problem...as far as reliability,I have had one visit to the garage on a trip from Canada to south Dakota. I drive the car all over Canada and don't hesitate as far as considering long haul blats. I like to think that we all share a common love of these cars, there are many great brand names to choose from, ask the questions, go for rides, choose one.......then have a blast!!! :-)

Duane,we use a spray coating on many of our prints and canvasses, never had a problem.

Should have seen the looks I got at the gas station....guess who's having more fun tho...
