That sucks that you have to wait again.. I am in the process of rebuilding my engine but using a 1.9 block instead of the 1.6 . The frustration of getting parts when ford has so many combinations of parts for the same engine. I do understand the waiting game.

The BC guys are doing a Van Island blat in August.. We are going along for that one.

Following the build with interest, keep the updates coming. Waiting for the parts to arrive is murder.. hope your new dash arrives soon. Looking forward to seeing Beatrice on the road this spring!!

YU a better man than I am............my car is sat in a neighbors barn right now.. we had ahuge wind storm here a couple of weeks ago which took the plastic car canopy off my car and deposited it in the middle of the road along with a bunch of tools and spare parts. Some gaskets never to be seen again. my new block and re fettled head are downstairs waiting to be re-assembled.. the race is on for me too, much to do and life keeps getting in the way.

Dollars are not what Caterhams, Ultralites, Stalkers, Birkins, Westfields, etc are about. If I wanted to invest cash in a car I would not be buying a seven. A seven is about having fun, quality of life and realizing there is more to life than work, chores and effort. No one wants to be the richest person in the cemetary. Well said Croc....... Yes, yes and yes again...its simply the joy of having a SEVEN.. -
