I am looking for a seven to autocross. I'd like an S2K motor and IRS. I also would like to keep the investment as close to the 15K I have in cash as possible. I am not too hung up on cosmetics but want light and fast and ready to autocross if possible. Tom Walgamuth 765 49zero zero275 Lafayette In. I'm contemplaing a bike engined seven....is the extra starter motor for reverse actually lighter than using an automotive tranny?

Does anybody know the lug pattern for those cortina based wheels? What type of shocks? I am looking for a 7 to autocross so shocks and tires availability will be paramount. This is a lovely car which has a nice historical aspect to it. Love the alloy body.
