  1. Sorry, been away for a spell.... What I mean is that it is getting harder and harder to find insurance for rhd cars in Ontario. I have owned 2 rhd JDM skyline GTRs and my old Fejer 7, all insured under Hagerty. I was looking into importing a rhd Caterham and found out Hagerty no longer will carry RHDs unless they are at least 25 years old. My regular insco, Intact wont touch RHDs either.
  2. Looking for a new plated 7, no matter what the make. Must be LHD due to the new prejudice against RHD cars (otherwise I'd be all over that hayabusa-engined rhd 7 listed in Toronto kijiji!). Thanks
  3. Awesome to see a Fejer descendant on the forums! Tell us more about yourself and gramps!
  4. Yup, still have them, in fact just took some pics last week for someone interested in them: http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/374650_10150502930411224_690446223_10884939_867760722_n.jpg http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/386293_10150502929946224_690446223_10884936_907058028_n.jpg http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/381120_10150502928936224_690446223_10884933_1487825023_n.jpg Clamshells went with the car.
  5. Update, it's now officially listed and for sale on their website. Looks street legal to me! Man, I would have been all over this last summer http://rightdrive.ca/inventory_cars/view/277
  6. Hey all, Just to let you know, there's a cool Hayabusa-engined Deman that just got traded in at a dealership that specializes in RHD cars in Markham called Right Drive (rightdrive.ca). The car is not listed for sale yet but it should be shortly. Go check it out! I saw this posted on their Facebook page: http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/261283_231461510199020_100000055178344_1029981_8364041_n.jpg
  7. Howdy, Yes I still have them and there are only 4 wheels. Widths are unkown but the rears are wider. I suspect the rears are .5" wider than the fronts. J
  8. Whata beautiful car Colin, glad to see its owner is not afriad to use it
  9. I have a set of RS Watanabe lightweight forged alloys. Offset unknown but they worked very well with my old Fejer 7, bolt pattern is 114.3x4. They are used, finished in gunmetal grey with some scuffs (I bought them for track use), lip has been machined to remove minor curb rash and looks very nice. Tires included are Dunlop GT Qualifiers. Sorry for the sketchy details, but the wheels are stored at my storage unit but I can check exact tire sizes and take better pics upon request. Price for everything is $900 plus shipping. Here's my best pic: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs400.snc4/46359_475652821223_690446223_6975835_7235404_n.jpg
  10. The new owner is in Montreal and doesn't speak much English, which is why I doubt he's on the forum, but his buddy Nick is here and might be able to pass the message to him. Here's Nick's thread: http://usa7s.com/vb/showthread.php?t=5523
  11. Stu, where'd you get the "supercharged" emblem??
  12. Not sure how often Nick comes here, but I'll just preview his answer by saying he's got two speakers mounted one on top of the other in a custom enclosure between the seats. On the dash is an iPod nano that looks like it's held with velcro. Very clean and simple. I don't recall seeing a headunit anywhere, so either it doesn't exit or is hidden.
  13. I think the cargo box can be substituted for a sidecar, make it the world's first 3 seater 7! LOL.
  14. Looks great! That green one with the slicks...truly awesome.
  15. I'm considering my options, incl doing nothing until the spring :toetap05:

    FS: My Fejer 7!!!

Well, the little 7 is officially SOLD. The car sold through communication via this forum, and I thank the admin and members here for this great place. The new owner is right now making the 200 km trek back east to Montreal from Ottawa as I type this. He left with a silly grin on his face (a look I am now very familiar with). I had a chance to see the car in motion as a spectator for the first time as I stood on the street and watched him pull away...it was bittersweet. :seeya: In the 7 weeks I've owned it I've been to a few car shows, went on one short cruise, took her on one very brief track event (2 hrs only), met a lot of curious people, made one very nice friend, and learned a lot about what these cars are all about. I hope to one day pick another one up, so don't expect me to disappear from here entirely. Enjoy the car Michel, and drive carefully! :driving:
  17. Please bear in mind that shipping to the Phillipines will be expensive. He's in touch with the guy who owns my old set right now. Hope they end up with you!

    FS: My Fejer 7!!!

It was fun on the track but I realized that in order to make it perform the way I'd like it to would require putting more money into it which was not a can of worms I was not willing to open. As it is now, it is a splendid street car, but I have enough street toys as it is. Someone who truly wants a car for the pure joy of driving it on the road (or even an occasional autocross car) would appreciate it more I believe. I've got my eyes set on an Atom or Exige.

    FS: My Fejer 7!!!

Up for sale is a Lotus 7 replica built by the Fejer Bros of Canada in the early 80's. This is a rare "+4" widebody Seven, much sought after as it is more accomodating to realistic physiques. The car was first registered in 1982, powered by Toyota type 2TC 1588cc cross flow with single Weber, manual 5 speed transmission, 5 new 15" Konig Rewind mags with new Yokohama rubber and 5 spare mag wheels (from Datsun S130Z). A body-off restoration was performed by StirtonHotrodz in Oakville, Ontario in winter 2009. The car features coil over shocks suspension, body reworked to permit individual panel removal, adjustable seats, quick disconnect steering wheel, 4 into one headers running to chrome side exhaust. It's registered as a 1982 Toyota, insurance is SUPER LOW, its great on gas an very reliable. A fantastic track car, and engine bay will accept much more power. I have only owned this car since July, but looking to go in a different direction. Price $17,000 obo. Well below market value for a rock-solid, turnkey, need nothing to enjoy 7. Incl: tonneau cover, heater core (removeable), extra set of springs. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs305.snc4/40580_474533716223_690446223_6946164_6787772_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs145.ash2/40580_474533721223_690446223_6946165_605353_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs183.ash2/44590_475391966223_690446223_6968274_7640873_n.jpg
  21. Well folks, the Fejer is for sale! I have owned this car since July but something's suddenly come up and I'm ready to sell it. In the time I've had it I have changed the fenders and added stripes. Mechanically its identical and rock solid. Here are recent pics: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs314.snc4/41059_474533666223_690446223_6946163_1567030_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs305.snc4/40580_474533716223_690446223_6946164_6787772_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs145.ash2/40580_474533721223_690446223_6946165_605353_n.jpg PM me for details if interested. It's registered as a 1982 Toyota CDX, and will have no problems with registration in the US.
