  1. I believe there's a PALS meet this Sat (17th). Sort of a pre-season meet, as it was just added to the list. Likely a smaller group I suppose, but if the weather holds up, might be hard to resist. I have to wait on the results of my job interview today to see if that day will be taken up by last-minute stuff for the job. Presumably I would have a few weeks to start, but classes start this Monday, and I'm up for a dept. Chair position (currently occasional part-time instructor). May have to get some work in early.
  2. bah... you're no match for a car with some racing stripes and a "fear this" or "no fear" sticker.
  3. Penciled in. Unless work issues arise (2nd interview for new job this afternoon), I should be good to go. Timothy
  4. Might be difficult to make it, but will keep it in mind if the date is open. 2 hrs in a seven with a live axle = sore butt.
  5. I am fairly certain there's no chance of my head being below the hoops. I'm not as tall as Steve, but still think I'm too tall. I will check to be certain. Status: hope to spectate, slim chance to race. :-)
  6. My S1 is under 200hp as well, but having no roll bar is an issue, regardless of if I could set that date aside. Regardless, I will attempt to spectate.
  7. I'd love to meet up at BCExotics and go for a drive (with or without the red ponies). HOWEVER, I'm teaching for another 10 weeks, so my saturdays are booked. At best, I'd drive by and wave, no time to stop. Not likely to take the car, though it's tempting. I should be good to go for April though.
  8. Since I got cheated out of a nice drive, my wife and I had some fun after lunch on 611 on the way home. She got on the road before me, and I caught a light, so I was up over 80 when I went past her. Didn't realize I had caught her already. Later on, a mustang decided to rev at me. I heard it before I saw it... thought someone had rearended a landscaping trailer, because it sounded like a mess of metal rather than an exhaust system. Since I didn't put my stabil in the tank yet, I suppose I could try to find an excuse to get the car out again, but likely done any real drives until April.
  9. By the time you got there, I was getting a bit too warm. I was dressed for 28 and I'm pretty sure it was up beyond 35 at least
  10. almost forgot.... It was truly a pleasure to meet Croc today. Look forward to seeing you again.
  11. I believe I was bundled up sufficiently. I will work on getting pictures up. Have to find my cable to download them. BTW, our 7s scared the fancy red ponies and the yellow bull away... afraid to inform us they were starting the drive, afraid they couldn't keep up with us. :-)
  12. I'll be there, nicely bundled up, as it will be cold, and I refuse to put the top on the S1 (and it has a few mouse holes). This time, I do have the ability to go for the drive afterwards, with wife and kids meeting me at the parking lot when we're done to go hit some stores. Then it's off to find a Christmas tree and meet Santa. Kids make Christmas even better.
  13. I believe they lived in Carversville. Not sure if that's still the case.
  14. Tinicum's a mess with bridges out and now snow storm issues. Keep an eye on the weather, maybe we'll find some time to do a run up there.
  15. Maybe we'll have to add a drive into the BCE meet. Which way do you drive to get to the meet? I could meet you on 611 somewhere, though I'm really just down Almshouse from the meet. If I can get out of the house early, maybe get in a short drive on the way to the meet. Can't think of any interesting roads though. Van Sant Airport is certainly too far north for us for the BCE meet.
  16. Let's hope that it deflects and the roads are nice and dry. Do we have a snow date? Steve - Bucks County Exotics on the 1st Saturday... will likely be there. C3 on the 3rd Saturday, same parking lot.
  17. I also have a spare set of tires already mounted.
  18. Steve, I may be able to give you a ride if you want to go.
  19. Schedule is open and Wife has given the nod of approval. I'm in. Since it's on the 30th, anyone wearing costumes? :driving::devil:
  20. I'm definitely going to try to keep that day open for the drive. I grew up in New Hope and have taken my car through main street a few times. People like to stop and look, and it's generally slow moving through town. For the purpose of a drive, it's not very useful to go through main street, however it's good for attention if you want it. If in the area, get to main street just below the town itself, and head up Village 2. The winding roads there can be fun, though obviously you can't go too fast because of the houses and people. If you then exit on the other side (Sugan Rd), take a left and you'd go past my parents' house. Honk honk.
  21. Tentatively planning on going, but too far off to commit at this point.
  22. I can try to make Sat or Sun. Depends on my wife's schedule and if I'm still employed.
  23. Son's Soccer game @ 10:15 I believe. Perhaps I can come for part of it, and leave early to head to the game. Any seven drivers wanna string along to watch 3yr olds run around and try to play soccer? :-D Timothy edit: as of 10:42PM, I'm there around 8 or 8:30, leaving in time to be in Richboro by 10 at the latest.
  24. Good luck with the weather
  25. I'll have to firmly move into the "unable to attend" category. Just got a call to do a phone interview for a job, so I have the weekend to learn some software (MS Project) in order to try to get one of these 2 positions. I look forward to a future meeting & ride. Timothy
