scannon Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 A series of videos from the cockpit of what it takes to start up, take off, land and shut down. http://foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com/this-amazing-first-person-view-shows-every-move-it-take-1698638721#
powderbrake Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 That was one interesting video, it is like his hands have a mind of their own, and are continuously running the pre-flight checks.
scannon Posted June 13, 2015 Author Posted June 13, 2015 I think he was mainly pointing to what he was looking at to show us where is attention was going. I doubt he does the finger pointing when not being recorded.
powderbrake Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I meant the almost unconscious touching of the various controls, particularly with the left hand. The finger pointing and the thumbs up were for the audience, the other touching is "built-in" to his brain.
Ut7owner Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Why do you guys post this crap?!?!? Now I've spent all evening enjoying this video and all the other similar ones that it led me too! Seriously, thanks for post that link... Lee
xcarguy Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Lee, Skip does have a talent for finding interesting info and luring you in. :jester:
scannon Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 You want I should put "Time Waster" in the subject to save you having to look at my off topic posts? :jester: Being retired I have plenty of time to waste. :hurray:
