coffee break
So, the 7 is low on fuel. I'll just take a short ride to fill it up. It won't start, crap. Go back in the house any watch the end of the Xfinity race at the Glen. Go back to the shop to check out the 7. Start looking for the charger for the Ballistic battery, can't find it. Well, I guess I should check the battery, +14v. OK Turn the key, the relay goes CLUNCK, hmmm. Connect the volt meter to the little wire that goes to the starter, CLUNCK, +14v, hmmm OH, LOOK, the heavy lead that goes to the starter is dangling unconnected, holy crap! Boy, I was lucky I didn't stop somewhere on my last blat for gas, I would have been S.O.L. Found a nut and LOCK WASHER to reattach the cable. It's off to the gas station. Dave W
I would say somebody is looking after you!! That lead wire to the starter is not fused and is HOT all the time. Dave W
