Strangely, even though they are the same car under the skin, I prefer the look of the Fiat to the Miata. I keep thinking that this shows I would fall for lipstick on a pig!

Shoehorn in an LSx and just leave the lip stick at home . . .

I've had a couple of conversations with Bill of Flyin' Miata about just that. I offered my car for the first installation, I would pay for the parts and they would cover the installation. They finally decided they didn't want to do the first one on a customer car as they didn't know if it would work and didn't want to be handing back a cut up car if it couldn't be made to work. Do I really need two LS3 powered Miatas? :D

Turbo kits are in the pipeline and expected to put out ~300 RWHP so that may have to suffice until they get the V8 worked out.

Skip...I'm throwing in my hand and taking my losses! :-) been around long enough to see what happens on the dyno when you pit a sbf vs. an LS...grin

(Raking in the pot) :D

My car came in at 420 RWHP on the dyno, adjusted for altitude. R&T tested an identical car with the same gear ratios and same tires. They got a 0 - 60 of 3.8 seconds starting in 2nd gear. They didn't publish a 1/4 mile time.

Seems like mine came in about 150 RWHP under that...but hey, looking on the bright side, I had argueably the fastest 1991 BRG SE around!

What does 'need' have to do with any of this? :jester:
