Kitcat
No, not just an Elfin Clubman (7 clone) the entire company and all of its products and inventory (per today's BAT e-mail). Croc, if you are in Australia, this could be a chance to really make a big score!
Croc
For those who missed Kitcat's reference, here is a link: http://bringatrailer.com/2015/12/30/bring-a-boardroom-elfin-sports-cars-for-sale/ A very storied and successful manufacturer of race cars in Australia and New Zealand. I raced an Elfin Formula Vee early in my driving history. The wikipedia link will give you their history and photos of their various models over the years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elfin_Sports_Cars My favorite is the Mallala - very Lotus like. http://www.sdrc.qld.gov.au/Images/UserUploadedImages/390/Leyburn%20Sprints%20-%20Elfin%20Mallala.JPG I also had the opportunity to drive the Australian Formula 1 car (actually Formula 5000 class) shown on that link with Ansett sponsorship - one of the most terrifying cars I have ever driven - F1 chassis from the 1970s but with 50-75% more power. I doubt the business can be resurrected. They have not been producing cars for a few years. The owner is a deceased estate although there were professional managers running the business. You are working to produce specialist cars in an economy with 24 million people only although if you add New Zealand into the mix then that brings another couple of million people and 45 million sheep. If it is very difficult to make a specialist car manufacturer work in the US with the population of 300million odd people then imagine the difficulty in Australia. The value left is the name, support for parts, and maybe 1-2 of the nicer models. It will likely be taken over by a rival manufacturer who can then spread the costs over a bigger production run. So I will happily stand aside for other potential purchasers. I am in Sydney for another day so could happily fly to Melbourne to do a pre-purchase inspection for you and can recommend a good attorney for the paperwork.
