The infuriating joy of having an empty track to yourself

Sunshine, 75 F warmth and 2 miles of twisty quirky track :driving:was the order of the day at Thunderhill West.

Thanks  to Bruce Beachman and the hearty NW crew who are in California for some speed and G's. Only 7 guys and 5 cars were here to play, so plenty of clear track all day. If you thought about it but didn't show, eat your heart out. :nopity:

Ted - thanks for coming out to what turned out to be a very private track day, with absolutely gorgeous weather. Thunderhill West is a track well-suited to Sevens.

I didn't think about it and I am still eating my heart out:). It will be another 1-2 months before track days start to be possible in the mid-west.

Yes, but every time I buy a se7en I sell one, so I only have one. Still, I like the concept:)!

I have to agree that Thunder Hill West is a glorious track for a 7, in fact, one of the best! I was already committed to being at the NASCAR races in Las Vegas or I wouldn't have missed it. For a two mile track it throws just about everything you can think of at you, and no wasted time on a long straight that just lets the Mustangs and Camaros you were pushing through all those corners get ahead again LOL. Glad to hear you had such a good day at my favorite track.
