yellowss7 Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 When autoxing, I have 10 inch slicks at all 4 corners. I can still break them loose at the start, so no I can't say that they bog mine down. For the street, I have the 205-55-13 Avon CR500's on the rear and the 175-55-13 on the front. Driving on the slicks is sooo much more fun. Tom
JBH Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Yellow (sorry, I don't know your name) I assume you have a Caterham - How are you getting 10" wide tires to fit under the front wings? I am now running 185/60-13 Hoosier R6 radials in front and 225/50-13 in the rear. The aspect ratio is less than ideal, but the setup works very well on the track (13" radial race tires are really hard to find). The car is very balanced and predictable. The front tires barely fit and I had to bend back the wing supports a little bit to keep them from rubbing. Jeff
yellowss7 Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Jeff, it's easy to get 10 inch wheels and slicks under the front and rear wings. First off I have the wide track front end, which from your pics it appears you do too. Second I have Clams. :d And the Name's Tom. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1680911898_Copy of DSC_6221 boeing july 06.jpg
