catsv7 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 I have a 2002 Caterham with a Pectel T2 ecu. I have the Descprow software and with it I have sucessfully interfaced with the ecu. However, I would like to offload the recorded data from the ecu. I believe there is a Pectel program called "datalog" to help off load the data but I am not sure. Does anyone know for sure? If Datalog is the correct program, does anyone know where I can obtain a copy? TIA
DaveD Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 If you still need the Datalog software, send me a PM. I use the Pectel software on my Zetec.

I also read through your very old Zetec misfire thread and that you had a map that solved that. Is that something you can share? Im clearly reaching for straws here with my misfire issues. I’ve came across a few threads with similar symptoms on forums but there hasn’t been a closed resolution to most.
catsv7 Posted May 18, 2023 Author Posted May 18, 2023 I do have the datalog software. To make it usable I had to purchase an older laptop running windows 98. I has taken quite awhile but the engine is running much better. I was combination of items including fuel injection. maps, dodgy alternator, dodgy engine sensors, incorrect fuel injectors.

I'm running an old laptop for my Pectel to begin with, so that's not a problem. I know compatibility overall is a major issues. I think my injection is fine, no clue on alternator, sensors maybe still, injectors should be right but I'd like to double check the maps. Do your recall if you had any control for maps or firing control for individual injectors for each cylinder? On 5/17/2023 at 8:14 PM, catsv7 said: The catalytic convertor was also bunged up. Gutting it next...
