Hello, I'm Tyler from bend oregon. I own and am restoring a 61 lotus7. The car was my grandpa's and was parked in 1970 to never move again until I went and picked it up from socal last year. http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh217/zeingred/0725161807_zps1u1zrk4f.jpg

Well Hello fellow Oregonian, you will really enjoy this forum, all the people are great at helping you enjoy even more the experience of owning a 7. I hope in the future to be able to acquire an original one from 1959 to 1965. The ice is just melting here but I don't think I will have mine out for at least another week.

Thanks, I'm been lusting after this car from a little 4year old boy, it was the only thing that I got from my grandpa's will, well the lotus and a 1929 Harley with a side car. This is a car that I will never get rid of and will pass on to my kids

Welcome

great looking car

its funny but the older I get the more I like leaving the body/outer look

as it was and spending money making the car drive well .the patina is just wonderful.

Polishing ally gets old too "black rags and fingernails" , wasn't that a Rod Stewart song?
