Al N.
I've had the car out twice in three days now (small and large meets notwithstanding, that's got to be some sort of record for me), and it's occurred to me that I sing a song in my head when I drive the car. We may have covered this before, but it's fresh in my mind again (drove to work this AM) so wanted to revive the topic — also, we have about 250 more members now than a year or so ago, etc. So, for better or worse, the song that plays in my head is "Your Love" by the Outfield. I think this 80s semi-classic has stuck with me because it was playing on one of my more memorable drives back in the day. "Josie`s on a vacation far away Come around and talk it over So many things that I wanna say You know I like my girls a little bit older I just wanna use your love tonight I don`t wanna lose your love tonight..." So what song plays in your head when you drive your Se7en?

soareyes
So what song plays in your head when you drive your Se7en? Whatever my XM satellite radio equipped Garmin Zumo 550 is playing! Yes, I may be the only Se7en owner with satellite radio in his car. Actually I have had the Zumo for half a year or so, and enjoy listening to mp3's through the unit with the in-earbuds on long freeway slogs. I just recently got the optional XM antenna for the PNW 2007 tour so I can have more variety of music and news, and I'll even get to listen to two IndyCar races live! I know it may go against the spirit of Se7en's motoring, but it keeps me awake and alert, and doesn't block any more outside sounds than the earplugs I would normally wear. At least one of two :yesnod: I didn't have it on at 7/7/7, but I have one of the (now obsolete) XM PCR USB adaptors. I also have about 800 MP3's loaded for REALLY LONG trips
drew...
Make that one of three - XM through custom ear plugs. Everything is set-up to transfer back and forth from the sport touring bike or the Caterham.
Mike Rohaley
Is it only my car or does yours make it's own music too. By that I mean that there is a very distinct whistle from the passenger side clamshell area at speeds between 35 and 45 mph. It is purely aerodynamically sourced and you can whistle along with it (it keeps me entertained after I get sick of listening to myself think). Al N.
Mike, here's a link to my blog post on the longest one-day drive I've ever done in the car. Al's "Deep Thoughts" on a long drive For all the folks who use headphones/earbuds...I don't know if I could roll that way and feel safe. I do drive with a helmet on the highway, which of course interferes with my hearing a bit, but I like being able to have that extra sense at 100% when I'm in the Seven. In my mental calculus, it somehow makes up for being in such a vulnerable car.
