How many of us are PILOTS of airplanes

I'm a private pilot flying both power and gliders. My power plane is a homebuilt RV-6a (I didnt build it). I have an RV-4 which I did build almost ready to fly (should fly before the end of the year).

My glider is a Schweizer 1-26.

I have a glider rating but haven't been active for 15 years. On the way home from the PNW2007 tour I stopped by the Tehachapi glider field

and they were having their annual sailplane homebuilder's workshop/vintage fly-in. I definitely still have an interest in getting active again but there is just not enough time!

Comerical, S.E., M.E., Inst. over 5,000 HOURS in owned aircraft, the reason I'm broke now! As I live on an airport I have a 3,000 heated hanger, it would hold more 7's than I could buy. I'm now down to an RV-4 & an L16A. I just purchased an Birkin W/Zetec, and I'm enjoying it. I would like to move it up in HP, or buy an WCM Ultralite.

Several Stalker owners are pilots; At least three of them corporate commercial pilots.

I know that there are several Stalker owners that have built or currently own RV series aircraft.

Dennis B. has a glider rating.

Another common passion shared with Se7ens owners is sailing.

The handle will give you a clue.

While I haven't flown in years, there's a couple of good reasons. First, the $$$$, just got out of hand.

Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, my wife works for a major airline. It's hard to argue with sitting in the back, sucking down a Coke with peanuts - even if it isn't as much fun.

The last plane I had was a Maule M6 STOL (Short Take Off & Landing), which was a great "hoot".

The license plate on my car from that time period is LOFLYIN, since among other things I did low level search, rescue and surveillence for the local Sheriff's Office.

The Stalker provides many of the same giggles, at a much lower dollar figure.
