IamScotticus
Very nice. Did you do the finishing work?
geoz3
Kinda of. I'm going for the vintage racer look with it. No paint, clean up the aluminum, decals, Brookland's, and see how it looks. Just a time killer for an old retired fart.
geoz3
The paint was stripped by the seller, the green car is how it looked in 20??, it has sat for some time but runs and drives. The body is cleaning up pretty well, karate kid exercise, polish on polish off. Old smith speedo, and tach that don't work, The smiths tach is mechanical, the original distributor is not, it came with a new mallory dual point mechanical tach drive distributor, but not sure it will work. panamericano
Great job on the aluminum. That windshield is going to start a lot of conversations. Love it!

MV8
You might want to reconsider turn signals on the fenders. They will take a serious beating and probably won't last long, even if leds.

MV8
If you want to use the teardrop ones that came with the car, they could be mounted on the sides of the nose just above the unpainted panels around the upper control arm / rocker. There are headlamps that have integral turn signals but can be difficult to see with the headlights on. There are small, surface mount round turn signals that could be place around the nose or in the grill, but most everything besides fender mount will require some fabrication.
