add-liteness
I am assembling a left hand drive Birkin with a Duratec motor. I could use some pictures and/or instructions in plumbing the heater circuit.
wemtd
Do you have the plastic or metal water outlet connector? I took my heater out- but formerly modified the metal outlet connector for water temp senders & heater connection. I will look for a plumbing picture this weekend. ps: if you don’t have an oil temp sensor I think it’s nice to have. If you have the raceline wet sump You can easily add one by drilling & tapping the large anodized screen filter bolt. Mount the same sender for dash water temp and a switch to go between the two. add-liteness
Thanks for your reply and pictures The area that I am having a problem with is the heater circuit at the thermostat. Can you tell me which hose goes on which connection at the thermostat or does it even make a difference? Thanks
ashyers
This may help: The cooling system on my car was a hodgepodge of hoses and tubes when I purchased it. I used the info in the post linked to fix things. I tossed probably 10# of hose and tubing and now the cooling system works just fine and is much simpler. Andy
