TN_Scooter Posted Thursday at 08:56 PM Posted Thursday at 08:56 PM This is a new build, 420S. After putting the battery in, I checked all the lights, flashers and indicators. Everything worked fine. On my first test drive around the neighborhood, I put the turn signal on at the second or third turn, Half-way through the turn, the beeping stopped. The turn signals stopped working. After getting back to the house, checked everything for loose connections but still no flashers or turn indicators. Took the car out today for a short test drive and the turn signal worked for about three flashes then again, no beeping and no flashers. Got back to the house and pulled all the fuses to see if any were burnt, all were fine. Open to any trouble-shooting ideas. Thanks to all for any help.
Anthem Posted Thursday at 09:18 PM Posted Thursday at 09:18 PM Do the Emergency flashers work? Just asking to take the relay out of question.
TN_Scooter Posted Thursday at 10:30 PM Author Posted Thursday at 10:30 PM The emergency flashers do not work (they did during initial testing). Not sure which relay to pull. Looks like there are six of them under the dash.
CBuff Posted Thursday at 11:53 PM Posted Thursday at 11:53 PM (edited) I just blew a fuse replacing a 3rd brake light wired into the flashers on my new build 420. My fuses are flipped but in this order (washer fuse is the bottom). This should orientate you for the flasher relay. the flasher unit 10amp was the fuse that burned out for me Edited Thursday at 11:55 PM by CBuff
TN_Scooter Posted Friday at 12:29 AM Author Posted Friday at 12:29 AM CBuff, this is great, Could not find the fuse layout anywhere. This will give me a good starting point. Thanks!
